The Challenge
After being diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses in the span of a year, I found myself unable to do many of the things that once fueled my creativity and energy. In that slower, more uncertain season, I started doodling — at first just as a small outlet for joy and expression when I didn’t have much else to give.
Those sketches slowly evolved into a meaningful body of work — playful, honest illustrations that reflected the balance between resilience and rest. The challenge became turning these deeply personal drawings into something that could connect with others:
a sticker and illustration line that carried both personality and purpose. I wanted to create designs that were bold, expressive, and approachable — art that could brighten a space, make someone smile, or serve as a small reminder that creativity can thrive even through limitation.

Additionally, each illustration needed to maintain clarity and detail across multiple scales and print methods (vinyl, matte, and holographic), requiring intentional linework, color choices, and production-ready formatting.
The Approach
-
Allowed the creative process to unfold organically, pulling inspiration from everyday moments, humor, and honest reflections of chronic-illness life.
-
Developed a cohesive visual language with warm color palettes, clean lines, and playful shapes that worked both as stand-alone art and as part of a larger collection.
-
Experimented with print production to ensure quality across formats — from glossy vinyl and matte finishes to holographic styles.
-
Built the foundation for a small side business, including brand visuals, packaging concepts, and social content to introduce the sticker line to a wider audience.
The Solution
-
The result was a vibrant collection of illustrations and stickers that blend creativity, authenticity, and emotional storytelling.
-
Each piece was intentionally designed to be both aesthetically pleasing and meaningful — something that could live on a laptop, water bottle, or notebook and still spark connection or a smile.
-
Final deliverables included polished vector illustrations, packaging concepts, and digital files optimized for both online sales and print fulfillment.
The Results
-
The collection resonated deeply with audiences who related to themes of self-care, humor, and creative resilience.
-
The stickers became a tangible extension of my art practice — helping me reconnect with my creativity and build a small but growing side business.
-
The project continues to evolve as a personal reminder that creativity can adapt and thrive, even in the face of change.
